Shipping & Returns

At The InnerCandescent Co., every order is prepared with care and intention. Below you’ll find details about our shipping policies, processing times, and return guidelines.

Processing

Shipping: Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–5 business days. Please allow extra time during holidays or high-volume sales periods. Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Tracking updates may take up to 48–72 hours after the label is created.

We do our best to ship promptly, but once a package is handed to the carrier, final delivery is beyond our control.

Domestic Shipping (Canada)

  • Orders ship from Ontario, Canada (K0A 1B0)

  • Most orders arrive within 2–7 business days across Canada

  • Local pickup is not available at this time

If you’d like your package to require a signature, please note this at checkout. It will be your responsibility to be present for delivery or to collect it from the carrier depot.

U.S. & International Shipping

We ship across Canada, the United States, and select international destinations.

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout by destination and weight

  • Transit times shown at checkout are estimates only

  • Customs, duties, taxes, and import fees are not included and are the customer’s responsibility

  • Some products may be restricted from shipping to certain countries

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hoursat customerservice@innercandescentco.com with photos and a brief description. We’ll review and work with you to make it right.

We cannot be responsible for:

  • Stolen packages after confirmed delivery

  • Products damaged by extreme temperatures (e.g. candles left outdoors and melting)

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love your purchase. Returns or exchanges may be requested within 14 days of delivery if:

  • Items are unused and in original packaging

  • Candles have not been lit

  • Proof of purchase is provided

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Please pack carefully—refunds cannot be issued for items that arrive damaged. We recommend using a tracked service.

Once your return is received and approved, we will issue a refund or store credit for the product total (shipping is non-refundable). Exchanges can be arranged; reshipping fees apply.

Exemptions

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Used or lit candles

  • Custom or personalized items

  • Gift cards

  • Sale/clearance items

  • Fragrance oils (final sale)

Final Safety Note

For your safety, discontinue burning any candle when ½ inch of wax remains to prevent overheating or possible container damage.
